Here they are, in no particular order:
1. stretch your calves out often, especially before bed and during those middle of the night bathroom trips
2. flex your feet as much as possible when sleeping and when you wake up and feel any calf pain
3. take calcium supplements, especially before bed
4. get calf massages, come on husbands :)

i also have to take magnesium to supplement the calcium, and i found out that calcium does not absorb if you are vitamin D deficient (which is really common in pregnancy). so i get some sunscreen-free sun every day if possible, or you can take vit. D supplements. (milk and fortified juice have nowhere near the amounts you need unless you drink 10 glasses per day. sun absorption is the best way!)
